Selected Drawings by Sri Chinmoy

Over the years of his artistic activities Sri Chinmoy (1931-2007) created hundreds of drawings and millions of so-called soul-bird-drawings. For the first more than 600 of these cute artwork have been compiled in a video of 1:11 h. The music is by two Russian disciples of Sri Chinmoy, Kushali and Rageshri who performed their music under the name “Silence and Sound” in many parts of the world. Edited by Kedar Misani.


Sri Chinmoy in Budapest 1990

Sri Chinmoy visited Prague and Budapest as part of the “Oneness – Happiness – Song Tour” in November 1990. This video brings you the highlights of the Budapest concert, covering compositions on the harmonium, the esraj, flutes, cello, the violin, the piano a.o. As it was common in those days, there were silent peace meditations in between the musical pieces as well as at the beginning and end of each concert. sri-chinmoy-winterthurOn October 1, 2016, a seated statue of Sri Chinmoy had been inaugurated in the backyard of the Madal Bal store in Winterthur (near Zurich). The statue has been bought for the Geneva Center but due to lack of space in the new Center location they were looking for a new place. Gunthita and the Winterthur disciples are now trying to find an official final place while in the meantime the customers of Madal Bal can enjoy it in the garden. (Photo by Bijoy)

The Hannover Concert 1990

Highlights from Sri Chinmoy’s Peace Concert in Hannover, Germany on February 20th 1990. It includes an opening meditation and a performance on  the cello. 1990 was a significant year with the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989, paving the way for the German re-unification later in 1990. Sri Chinmoy gave several peace concerts in the year 1990 with the aim of fostering oneness, peace and harmony.
