Since 1974 Sri Chinmoy was a prolific modern artist with the emphasis of creating artwork that comes from the heart and not from the mind. Thus, he called his paintings “Jharna-Kala” which is the Bengali word for “Fountain-Art”. On one occasion he concentrated on spiritual qualities and translated them into art. Watch this video which I made during an exhibition in Manhatten in April 2002. Flute music by Sri Chinmoy.
If you do not want to listen to all 15 episodes of the recent ONENESS-DREAM tour through the Czech Republic, I recommend you this one. We were in the Humbrecht Castle, where the sound was exceptionally deep and full. In fact this is my favourite concert. Btw by end of the month all 15 concert videos will be uploaded on vimeo. And here are the singers in front of the building:
Sri Chinmoy (1931-2007) played on many pianos throughout the world and each time made unique musical creations which were powerful and soulful at the same time. We had three days of unbelievable Peace Run events in Timor-Leste. The President of Timor’s Parliament hosted runners from 10 countries. The Prime Minister helped launch the Run on the first day and great freedom fighter, former President and former Prime Minister Banana Gusmão joined with over 1000 Timorese in carrying the torch through the streets of Dili.
Over the years I captured quite a few pictures of sunset scenes at home as well as abroad in such countries as Thailand, Vietnam, China, Paraguay, Malaysia, Iceland and Japan. Enjoy Mother Nature!
